Re: ARTICLE: European football at Burnley for the first time
Supporters wanting to go to the game were warned by Althams Travel that they WOULD need passports. Passengers on flights from London to Paris didn’t need them but from Manchester they were very much required. Althams offered full help to people in acquiring passports. What's that about? Was the nor...

Re: Ben Gibson
I'd have him, don't get me wrong, but he signed a 5 yr deal in October last year, so he's not going to be cheap.
£20 million plus isn't an unreasonable estimate, for a 24yr old with pretty much 4 yrs left on his contract.

Good article by Martin Samuel in the Daily mail about Southgate.

Re: Ben Gibson
Rumoured to be on £40k a week, uncle owns the club and they've just been knocked out of the play offs.
It's going to take something spectacular for him to leave.

Well deserved, especially considering how this has been his breakthrough season in the top flight.

Re: Pope In....Tarky Out
Never understand how Tarky & Mee's defensive partnership can be overlooked at international level. Why not have a ready built defensive unit that plays week in week out, surely it would make life easier and the defence more solid. If they were playing together at one of the big 6 they would be nail...

About the same number of league goals he's scored in 4yrs.Milltown1882 wrote:15 in 37 for Welbeck for England. Almost 1 in 2 is a strong record.
So is he picked for his England form or league form?

Re: Pope In....Tarky Out
Congratulations to Nick Pope. Very much deserved. Is it just me or are we a bit light in numbers in midfield? Goalkeepers: Jack Butland, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope. Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gary Cahill, Fabian Delph, Phil Jones, Harry Maguire, Danny Rose, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyl...

Re: Choose your World Cup squad
So is his shooting accurate?
Are his passes? both short and long?
Or is it just because he takes the odd risk that might work occasionally?
How come you've seen so much of him then?

Re: Choose your World Cup squad
But most of all, pick Shelvey. Seriously, he is by far the best passer we have - and I don't mean the percentages, tidy, square-ball type. He creates chances, especially so for pacy strikers. Exactly what we need. A reasonable opinion floating around is his passing isn't that accurate and his long ...

Re: Computer not starting up correctly - help needed
We had a similar issue at work with one of the older PC's and ended up replacing it.
Kept rebooting itself on start up and would take up to an hour to get out of the loop.

Re: Free £10,000 for 25 year olds
Going off past discussions on this forum, it's amusing to see certain comments on here that are similar to older opinions that were shouted down and/or dismissed. Yes the quality of new builds is poor, has been for years but some people on here won't have it and dismiss it at rubbish. Friend of mine...
