I've somehow managed to do it this morning. Instead of clicking renew, I went to buy a new season ticket. I added my seat and then added my sons seat. The thing that has always slightly puzzled me is if its purely about money, there must be thousands of businesses (that Pace doesn't fully understand), that he could have used a leveraged buy out to gain control of, but which don't have the massive downsides that owning a football club has.

PTN. I’ve given you the solution earlier. Forget changing batteries, covers etc. Contact the Builder. All this messing with them will void any warranty. It’s foolish to even touch them. Are they going into full alarm, or just chirping? If they are interlinked, then if one goes into alarm then they should all go off, which makes me think they aren't 'going off' as such, if its sometimes one and sometimes all. RIP Jimmy. Born in the same year as my dad (Charlyt from this board) and they both served some of their apprenticeship together, when trainee footballers also had to have a trade.

The first thing I thought when I heard this news was to speak to my dad, but sadly he also passed away in September.

Whichever way you slice it, matchday prices are too expensive. When I started going on my own it was pocket money, even in the 80s - £1.50 on the Beehole and (I think) £2.50 on the Longside. If I was 14 now and didn't have a season ticket I know I wouldn't be able to afford it and thats what happens...

Its a gamble for a player to sit out a contract, in the same boat the 'what ifs' would get to me with six months to go. He might be advised for continuity of employment to take the best offer in January, but like I say its a gamble he might think is worth the risk.

He's a great keeper but realistically where is he going to go? Rightly or wrongly there's a perception that he can't play football, so which team is going to take him would be my question. Realistically none of the top six, all of whom like to play out from the back.
