Watched eps 1 and 2 last night and thought excellent. Good at introducing a variety of characters quickly and getting on with the plot. Some good Scand-moodiness, a strong plot with a number of facets and the great Icelandic setting. Got around to watching the first two and am with you. My pace of ...

Before Bosman the clubs had everything in their favour.
Bobby Moore couldn’t get away from West Ham as late as the 70s, even though Derby were willing to pay him a fortune.
If they didn’t want to sell they didn’t sell. We were a selling club.

Good point made over here. Apart from his 3 senior caps he has pulled on an Ireland jersey over 30 times. Taking the shirt off the back of a young Irish lad who could have done with the experience. All the managers who take money out of the game for the buying and selling of players.one has a dog with a Monaco bank account.
They are paid to improve players they shouldn’t get a bonus for doing just that.

I agree with Mdd2 above. The club should not suffer because of these two self serving buffoons. This is a personal debt between the Oystons and Belekon. The club are being used by the courts to settle the debt. There is no call for the EFL to step in and I hope that is how they see it.

I’d hope we can discard Fulham & Terriers. Another 9 pts for us would reduce their magic numbers to 18 & 12. If we don’t get 9 more points we don’t deserve to stay up and if we do I can’t see them not dropping 18 & 12 respectively.
For the rest it’s a dog fight.

Nonsense. Is the limit of your ambition for the club to mess around the foot of the PL? Not at all. I said at the time and still feel that for a club like ours it has to be baby steps. From a newcomer in the PL to Europe was to big a bound. We didn’t have the quality or squad depth for Europe. We n...

Definitely a yes from me. For all SD says the PL is our be all and end all he swapped things around and messed players about.
As one who was dead against our Europe adventure, we just didn’t have the squad. I wish he had played a complete second X1 for both legs against Aberdeen.

Spurs hoping Kane will be fit but he usually takes a couple of games to get up to speed.
Lunchtime ko could help.

36 points should be enough with the number of clubs still in the mix.
If they aren’t playing the top6 they are playing each other. Loss of confidence, injuries or suspensions could be a major factor.
