Yes, yes I have, you see my company supplies the Club shop (amongst others) with the letters that can be ironed on to the back of the replica shirts, you can get a good idea of potential new signings by the letters that they order. For example when we bought Ings, they ordered a lot of S, G, I and ...

Pretty underwhelming signing tbh. Is he better than what we have? No he is isnt. Wasting most of our budget on a relegation candidates squad player. I guess as a few people have suggested he will help retain the ball. But unless he is playing with Defour where is the creativity going to come from. ...

Dyche isn't going to change how he likes us to play no matter what he's said. We we're winning in our first promotion season. We strengthen to play the same the following season. there's not too many top class players about so producing players at that level is incredibly hard. Even producing players to go in the first teams at any level is hard. The better standard youngsters will always end up at the bigger clubs. We will get the lesser standard and so on down the leagues....

Im sure they will. I wonder how much City invest per individual? These big clubs get a lot of stick for having loads of players on their books but they have made the lower leagues stronger imo.

For us producing a first team player is like City producing a world class player. It'll take time but along they way we may produce a few young players to League 1/2 standard as the big clubs do to the championship.

I'm surprised Stoke are letting him go. I saw a few of their games last season and they always turned to Walters and Crouch when their more flair players weren't performing. It's a good signing for us. Dyche knows exactly what he's getting with him. 100% each week. That's what we need.

Re: Ethan Ampadu - will we remember him in a few years?
Yes, young German players get game time in the top division because it isn't as strong. English players do get game time over here if they are as good/better than the first teamers. Our top 6 have incredibly strong squads. It's hard to produce players ready to play in the first 11 at those clubs. Ev...

Which german team which finished sixth had a world class forward as good as Ibraimovich? Which german team finishing 3rd had players as good as aguero, silva, toure and kompany?
That's the level of player those top teams have got to produce.

It's also having faith in your own ability. If the 16 year old thinks he'll be good enough to play in the first team in 4/5 years good on him. Being with chelsea could also get him a loan move at a higher level than Exeter.
If a player is good enough they will make it. It's that simple

If they continue to stay up they could afford to take a risk on £15m a year without the chairman each season. They've got defoe on a free and isn't a risk.
I'd also say signing Brady was a risk which we don't know yet how that will be. Signing Defour was a risk and hasn't worked out.
