A drift boat down the Clinch river in Tennessee. Fly fishing for wild rainbows. Caught quite a few but the beautiful surroundings and great company made for a special day.
Special mention to the day I caught a sailfish off Aruba. Exhausting work but the fish was a beauty.

I once worked on a multi-million dollar government contract in Australia. At the end of the project I had to reconcile the account back to zero but one person had over paid their individual contribution. I had to have a meeting with several lawyers to discuss this anomaly. I was legally obliged to s...

Re: Optimistic or Pessimistic about the forthcoming season ?
I'm pessimistic in that if we don't bring in a couple more players then I can't see us doing anything other than finishing bottom 5. I don't think this necessarily means we will be relegated but the small, aging squad isn't capable of much more than survival. More signings like Collins would be real...

I have a soft spot for Steve Harper. Like all wingers he was inconsistent but every season there was a 5 game purple patch where he was very good. One of the best goals he scored was against Aldershot and it subsequently got wiped from the record books.

I watched Canberra Cosmos v Eastern Pride when I was in Australia (both teams now sadly defunct). The Lee Briscoe substitution
So a strange memory flitted through my head the other day and I was hoping someone could fill in the hazy details. We were playing at home and I think Stan was the manager. We went 2-0 down very early and Stan brought an attacker off and brought Lee Briscoe on. The crowd was not happy. Briscoe turne...

I was at that game, one of my best away day memories. Absolute scenes when the winner went in. I remember the van blocking the exit, it got a bit hairy for a few minutes, and the food stall shutting down. I had no idea about our ex manager being disguised until a few days later.

So hopping a beer happens in 3 stages: 1) Bittering 2) Flavour 3) Aroma Some hops are better for each of these different stages and many commercial breweries tend to go for a jack of all trades, master of none, approach by using the same hop for all 3. I'd be careful with anything that is just citra...

You are correct. No forward passes after passing the line of scrimmage. Cornerbacks are notoriously tackle shy and it is possible the D co-ordinator just gave th...
