Re: Soccer AM finally cancelled
Absolutely love opening the second page on this and seeing comments about the Met and the Casey Review in a Soccer AM thread. Because I’ve not read the first page I’ve no idea how we’ve got from Tubes to Baroness Casey in less than fifty posts. And to be honest, I’m happier not knowing. Genuinely me...

I’m still a shareholder in the club and I’d quite like to see the accounts.
I kept my shares just to see how things played out. I was fortunate that I didn’t need the money and the shares were a gift to me.
They don’t own all the club.

He looked sharp yesterday. Couple of good runs, some nice hold up play and took the goal brilliantly. What I noticed straight away was that he looked a different player as soon as he scored. Ekdal is the better defender at the moment by quite a bit I’d say. He’s better in the air, knows when to attack the ball better and is a decent dribbler and passer himself - although not at THB’s level. Al-Dakhil has looked really good in his performances too. Really quick and a proper front foot de...

Benson is a massive miss in the games like Wednesday and yesterday.
Maatsen, Brownhill, Churlinov all would have helped yesterday. Even Harwood-Bellis was with his passing out.
We’ve had quite a lot of injuries this year all told.

I'm not willing to go TBH. They don't seem very nice . Which is the point I'm making. Happily spend a few days in Utah though. That looks nice, as do the people. Ah right. So based on nothing other than conjecture. I thought as much. Could almost say your post was shockingly naive and preposterous.

Win our game on Tuesday.
That is all that matters.
If we do that then any result on Wednesday is beneficial to us because it means somebody slips further back.

We are very similar clubs. It goes to show it only takes one season for everything to align at the right time, and it can change everything for the next few years. Bastien isn’t getting enough game time, so I’m unclear why adding another back up midfielder helps so much.
If we’re signing a new midfielder it’s an upgrade to the first team or we hold off until summer as far as I’m concerned.

What about if you deliberately fouled three of your opponents in quick succession so they were down to eight men temp...
