Re: Spring Photographs 2024
ALP, have you been noticing more curlews this year? I'm not sure whether I've been lucky, or if they are doing a little better, because I've heard more calling than last year while out on my local patch. I hope so, because they are on the Red List. Sadly fewer lapwings, though, as per. Certainly mo...

Re: Been with your Mrs for 30 years and don’t love her.
This is generally because in recent years we've reached the limit of what we are likely to achieve as a club. I've seen us go from the 4th division to European football, win at Wembley twice, win promotion from each FL division, win the Championship twice, once with over 100 points playing unbeliev...

I was OK initially and then nothing. Thought it was this site at first but I had no access at all. It's not the football club, although I know that's horrendous on first team match days. I'm on Sky Mobile which uses O2 and I can't use it in town at any time. Am on BT Mobile which is same as EE I am...

I agree. It's not as strongly tasting as sprouts or cabbage and has good nutritional values and a decent (slightly chewy) texture + dirt cheap if you buy it on a market. Steam it and cover it with a curry concoction or some sauce you'd usually have on pasta. Tried that and it still went in the bin ...

Re: How to Make Celery Sticks
Recently at my local Aldi they did not stock whole celeries but they did stock "celery sticks" which are very similar but notably more expensive. Clearly the celery sticks are popular so I thought I'd share this simple recipe for celery sticks that you can use at home. It only takes about 2 minutes...

When I worked at Track Records in York during the 90's, a guy came up to the counter one day near to Christmas, with a list in his hand.
