Don’t do player ratings.

Maatsen,not always been a fan of him, seen a 4. Really? A few poor passes , yes. Boro’s only attacking option was to hit long balls in his direction, he won most of them, stood up for himself well.

From the TV, there were a few borderline yellow card fouls by Sunderland players in the first half on Tella, Zaroury and Benson, just a talking to. Cullen doesn’t seem to commit a foul, yellow card. Doesn’t seem to be a ref that allows a game to have a decent tempo.

If you went to Cavtat, I would go to Dubrovnik on a boat from there.

Have stayed in Cavat twice, went on a coach trip to Budvar and Kotor.

1982? Won on a Monday night? Delayed KO because the pitch was waterlogged and probably wasn’t fit but the ground was full. Think it was against Chesterfield.

Foster looked like came off with cramp not a pulled muscle, he certainly was snippered. Probably should have come off sooner as he looked off the pace and adapting to the English game.

All the subs made a difference, Cullen was neat and tidy, Brownhill got in behind, Barnes as above , Churlinov was direct and JBG caused problems.

It’s interesting reading the comments on the rate the ref thread, the save by BPF did go out for a corner however it hit Pukki who was off the pitch and the game carried on!!

Don’t think any of the bookings were particularly harsh. He could easily have ignored the Roberts thing but played it by the book. It's rare for me to agree with Spice however yes, Barnes and Cullen were absolute class today. Both appeared to everywhere on the pitch. Barnes looks so much fitter than he has been for a couple of years. Cullen is the Irish Kanté.

I'll hold my hands up ,I wasn't particularly impressed with him until after world cup break, since then he has been very impressive. Excellent today, along with the rest of the team in particular Barnes and Cullen.
