Re: Has anybody had Sertraline?
Had similar experiences, just moved from Sertraline to Citalopram 10mg. Some similar side effects though, such as loss of libido, and strangely enough I am now salivating loads, it's horrible. It's early days yet and these side effects hopefully wear off. Good for you for keeping on the medication ...

Re: Has anybody had Sertraline?
You upto max dose of 40mg on citalopram? I was on 40mg but then weaned myself off over the course of 6 weeks against doctors recommendations. Side effects of sertraline were too much to handle. Yes. Started on 20mg then after 6 months upped to 40mg and been on them for just over 4 years. Everything...

Re: Has anybody had Sertraline?
Sertraline ruined my skin, made my sleep patterns worse, made me gain weight and killed all sexual appetite. It was horrible. Psychiatric nurses love prescribing it for some reason. I moved onto citalopram but I am off all AD's now, I meditate with mindfulness a few times a day and I go for long wa...

Re: Has anybody had Sertraline?
My sleep is crap tbh! The only thing that made me sleep was mirtazapine and I had to come off that because it made me so drowsy all the time even after being on it for a year! Citaopram was a good send for me but like I've said for the past 6 months it's become less effective so doc has given me the...

Has anybody had Sertraline?
Been put on Sertraline as citalopram started to become less effective after being on it for 5 years. Has anybody any experience with these? I know people can react differently to these sort of meds but just looking for a heads up of what maybe to expect in the 1st few days. Thanks.
