'...when was the last time we let 2 goals in three consecutive games with those two in the side?...' we conceded 2 consecutively against Palace, Albion, Man City, Stoke + Bournmouth before Christmas...all with Keane/Mee together Duncan! ..we then went 14 games without conceded 2 in any! It's been his control and passing that's impressed me as it's got considerably better in the last couple of seasons. I know that he's always had decent feet but they seem to have got better. The back heel one was 'nailed on'?

If he was arriving at it with the ball in front of him I'd say that he would have buried it.

But what I saw (I haven't seen it back) was a ball played to him at the near post which was a tad behind him and he had to improvise.

A disinterested player wouldn't be running the channels after virtual lost causes, or getting himself into goal scoring positions or chasing defenders down and applauding his fellow team mates for decent balls.
