Which side because we're camped in 1 half and the next half you can't see anything with us being stuck at other side of the stadium. He did mention recruitment, albeit very vaguely.

As mentioned above, a bit of a pointless statement really. Almost as if he felt he had to say something so people know he is still around given many fans wanted him to comment at the beginning of the re-start when SD was sounding off a bit.

Ability wise, Sturridge is better than anything we have got. The issue is what's in between his ears.

For that reason alone I can't see Burnley (or many other Premier League clubs) being overly interested in taking him.

You’d have to take £50m for a 28yo goalkeeper really. Would be looking at Ramsdale as a replacement. 28 for a goalkeeper is pretty much the equivalent of a 23 year old outfield player. As others have mentioned Taylor, McNeil, Tarky and Pope have just got better and better.

Worth noting that Pope has only really played two full seasons for us - and both have been top half finishes in the Premier League. Tom who...???

He's done a very good job. However, showed a real lack of class last night when he withheld the ball from the Swansea lad and then dropped it behind him resulting in a scuffle.

Never seen the lad play but Norwich fans seemed to like him and he got player of the month there at least once. Brownhill looks like he can cover the CM roles aswell as out wide. I think we need to be looking at a new wide player personally....or if we do go for a CM a more attacking / creative one...

He was out of sorts and looked very tired yesterday, misplacing several passes.....but he wasn't on his own. It was quite noticible that Westwood gave the ball away a lot too. However, given the circumstances, it would be so very wrong to criticise any of our players right now for playing below par....
