Crazy. So, if the muddle and deflection between the two Liverpool defenders resulted in the ball rolling into the net without Benzema involvement would it be chalk off as being an OG because it was not deliberate play by the Liverpool players? Seems like some new rules/interpretations are being made...

Why not periodically use sniffer dogs in the ground side of turnstiles. I am sure the clubs can pay the cost of training and utilising the dogs. Would be good training for the dogs and trainers as well. Think of the chaos if one was parked outside the CFS toilets.

The nature of the fracture ( brittle) suggests it is definitely a cast iron cover. There could be a problem in getting a cover to fit the existing frame. If the water company are responsible they may end up hacking out tarmac and replacing the cover with a new one + frame and then bodging up the tar...

I think it will be. Just needs a bit of gold paint and squeeze in an extra "d". As Sean says, maximum effort and small margins. Hence, The Royal Dyched will ultimately still survive as a pre/post match watering hole.

I know there is a link but you need to separate adjustment of Interest rate from cost of living. I see rising interest rates as a mechanism for slowing down price inflation -it puts people off borrowing and makes people save more so holds back inflationary price rises. Simple economics of supply and...

The UK is fairly privileged as an island with potentially and abundant ready source of both wind and wave power. Part of the problem with wind generated power is obvious – wind is too sporadic.
