Re: Burnley fan ejected at Spurs for racism
So a 13/14-year-old Claret has been ejected from Spurs ground for alleged racial abuse of Son. Not yet proven but people want him banned or whatever without him been proven guilty? somehow does not seem right to me but hardly surprising with the holier than thou attitude that prevails on this board....

Time to do away with this party politics nonsense and the even more absurd electioneering. The military should remove all politicians and start running the country on some good old fashioned British values.

Having looked through the predictions for polling percentages one thing stands out. That is that everyone is underestimating the number of votes Charlie Briggs will poll. Nowhere did I say that the sum total of the Labour vote would come from Stoneyholme,Bank Hall and Queensgate. It does give her a nice start over the other parties however.aggi wrote:It would be pretty impressive if she got in with about 10% of the vote.

I suspect the only thing that will see Julie Cooper elected is the fact that she will secure the vast majority of the Asian vote. The latest local gov elections would indicate the other wards in the town have had enough of her and the Labour Party.

It might have been on the other thread, but I've said before that I can't see Labour's vote on Polling Day falling to below it's historical low of 31.3%, or in other terms, between 13 - 14,000. For that to happen, between 25-30% of people who voted Labour in 2017, would have to vote elsewhere or ab...

I agree with your political analysis on the Burnley seat, I can't see the Labour vote share going below the historical low of 31.3% of 2010 .... If you look at last May,s local council elections, where Labour took something of a beating, then Labour could drop well below 31%. Charlie Briggs will take...

Strange when Barlick is so near to Barley you would think they might get some of the overspill.
It would help with resident parking in Barley do the economy of Barlick some good and stop said residents moaning on here.
