Re: Interesting that potential contract clause mentioned again.
You cant see the difference? I was expressing an opinion on our performance along with the view that people have overreacted to it because of the result. Re: If VK is made director of football who is our manager?
I can't see him wanting to be in that sort of setup either - which to me is his self-belief / arrogance. Reading between the lines that's why he left Anderlecht as well and why he joined us in the first place (that level of control/influence). Now, I could be wrong but I have a feeling that he may ...

Re: REPORT: Clarets suffer a damaging defeat at Everton
I questioned myself on what I’d seen when I saw this quote from our manager on the way home. “I don't think you need to overanalyse [the mistakes]," Kompany told BBC Match of the Day when asked about Muric's error and O'Shea's red card. "The main thing for us is that I think we played really well a...

Just how many reports have had to be written this season detailing yet another half-arsed and incompetent showing.
Whatever style of football this manager is trying to implement, it’s as plain as day that we’re not capable of it.

Re: The cost of playing out badly
Nonsense (my last post to this). Some stats are obscure, others are direct relevance to goals. The one you objected to today wasn’t an obscure stat like xG, it was simply goals conceded from open play. My point was simple - that half a dozen sides have conceded similar. That’s not an opinion, it is...

Indeed. And it is shocking. The poster who I replied to though was being insulting (due to not having a proper argument) in reply to a stat about open play defending, hence why I demonstrating we are no worse than several other teams in this regard. I can see why stats are annoying - they can destr...

Re: The cost of playing out badly
Stats can show when someone is right and someone else is wrong. Like with you in this case. We have conceded 42 from non set pieces. Chelsea have conceded 38. Brentford 46. West Ham 40. Yes, we are poor at it, but there are worse sides. It isn’t the reason why we are going down. Attack is. And, I w...

Sorry ,but I christened him 'O SH%TE months back!!! He's far from shite. Re: The cost of playing out badly
We have conceded 42 from open play, City have 23. So if the figure was indeed 20 we would be better than City other than this at defending, so it obviously isn’t. I suspect the figure is more like 6-7. And I bet other teams are similar. It isn’t our issue, attack is. But the “overplaying” has been ...

He has improved, and credit for that, but the difference between who we tried to sign across the team and who we actually signed is a huge gulf. O’Shea epitomises that (it was only a yellow card for me today but he also got turned earlier by DCL badly). I’d say only Berge, Amdouni and Tresor fit th...

Just watching the highlights back now on MOTD and we are just an absolute car crash of a team. The players just cannot play like the manager asks, whatever that actually is. Every game is littered with tens and tens of errors. The manager's judgement is appalling.

interesting Cullen - captain at Anderlecht O'Shea - captain at WBA Berge - captained Norway There may be more I think it's probably a little more complex than just plucking captains from others teams. The sloppiness, poor mentality, and poor discipline we've seen all season tells it's own story.

When a manager has been there 8 years there’s going to be an element of his finger prints still being around the club, but having barnes in the squad wasn’t implementing dyches ethos and imprint on Beyer, Cullen, tella and benson to name a few, that was all on kompany and the staff with the style I...

Newcastleclaret is a plonker more often than not, everyone knows that, but he has a point here. Kompany inherited some Dyche warriors and their impact on the 22/23 season shouldn't be underestimated. Yeah Vinny is sloppy and has sloppy standards which is why he is at Gawthorpe 12-14 hours a day. Don't post when you're angry. Sure he encourages the players to get sent off and make mistakes. See also our defending all season. Sloppy is fair. Don’t post when you’re angry at what I’ve posted.

It’s very gracious of us to nullify our biggest threat by playing Foster from the right, if indeed that’s what we’re doing again.
Kompany has a habit of not learning lessons until it’s too late this season but surely he could see on Tuesday that Foster is absolutely not a wide right.

That bloke that comes out of the dugout whenever we have a set piece must have the best job going. I believe his title is “set piece coach”.
