I'm not the biggest fan of the current badge, but for me the pre-2009 badge was awful. I don't mind the monochrome one being used in tandem with the full colour one for stylistic purposes but not as a replacement.

I'm still of the belief that they're just using the monochrome version of the 'main' badge for stylistic reasons on social media / merchandise.
The badge on the home shirt will be the thing that confirms/denies a change.

I really like the player but it all depends on whether our valuation matches Coventry's. I suspect it won't given our 'buy low sell high' model. Separate from that, if they go up in the play-offs there's no way they'll sell him anyway unless something ludicrous comes in. If we can get him for 12-15m...

That outweighs every con. Don't get me wrong, I have really enjoyed this season, just like that other promotion seasons. I'd love to take the PL money then just do the Champ again ad infinitum. But that's not realistic.

For me if we're going to have 12 groups of four then in order to stop 3rd placed teams getting through I'd simply give eight 1st placed teams a bye in the 2nd round. Great news.
That is miles better than the 16 groups of three idea in that there will be no final group game colluding possible (or at least mega unlikely).
Still don't like 3rd place teams qualifying, but without a square number of teams that's the price you have to pay.
