His first Chelsea team was probably the most underrated in the history if football. Conceding just 15 goals one year in the PL. If it wasn’t for the robbery against Barcelona, they’d probably have won the CL as well. Called finishing 2nd with Man U his greatest ever achievement, and you can’t really...

Should have absolutely had 2/3. JBG’s chance. Zeki’s goal. Foster’s simple pass through to Zeki 2nd half. That’s just top of my head. How many games with Dyche did we have 2 shots on target and two goals - we aren’t clinical enough. That foster pass doesn't count as a chance really though does it? ...

Isn’t there some kind of rule when building houses that stairs have to meet certain dimensions? Sure I read it years ago. I struggle down steps at stadiums or other environments. Well, not struggle but they go against my normal “stair” rhythm.

Aspirations amongst younger people have certainly changed. When me and my mates bought our first houses around 20 years ago, it was about getting on the ladder. My first house was a back to back terrace but it served its purpose. 4-5 years ago I worked with a couple of young lasses looking to buy t...

Nobody knows for sure, but it looks like Phase One is to get relegated so that the players we signed in the summer look a bit better. I’d have to agree. Sick of reading “potential”. What is that?!? This building is absolute nonsense. You don’t in season 1 get loanees in that will be your star players that are out of budget to keep and build a team with them. It makes no sense. The start of next season we are weaker than 24 months earlier. How’s that building? If we went up or not last year, yo...

Easily said the same 2 years ago when we potted Dyche and almost stayed up, then went up far more convincingly than we ever did with him.

What I don’t get is that this is a 3/4 year project. Yet half our team was on loan, they would have left regardless. Now, say we finished 7th, those loan players carried us to that position, then went back. We’d no chance of keeping them and we’d be in the same position as now, but a league lower. Y...

The Bundesliga is very poor defensively in comparison. Kane has about double his PL rate last season. 17 in 11 I think. So I’m not convinced Tella would bag many at this level. 5 a season I reckon. What is “potential”? Potential is something that has become a bit obsessive in football like stats have over the past 10/15 years. More often than not potential never gets transformed into what ever it is that you thought it would. Most players by their early 20s have reached their ceiling of their ...

I do agree regarding Benson (unfortunately he’s injured) but we have effectively played every game without a proper right winger. Pressure will be mounting now. Pace has sacked before. Somewhat out the blue with a manager many thought was “unsackable” due to what he achieved. Like a lot of these new young managers about, to much over thinking. Football is a simple game, that very few managers have mastered complicating it. Lots try and copy it by forgetting the basics and they and their teams look clueless doing it.

It seems like VK wants to play in a certain way, as in try unknown or pushing the boundaries of how teams play. Without really implementing the basics of what a team needs. I just don’t know where goals are gonna come from. It’s fine signing players or not signing players when getting promoted but the simple fact is, our starting 11 is missing 28 goals from last season.
