Re: Sheffield Utd fans
I think our fans were better today for whatever reason. Probably scoring so quickly and the opposition fans being quiet I truly believe that if we can get the ground going we will survive. What's going on with the flags in the ground idea? Has it gone because of the obvious profiteering stance? Bet...

Re: Dug Outs at The Turf
I’d much prefer the TV cameras to be on the Bob Lord side so it shows the James Hargreaves’s on the TV. Would make the ground look a lot better and modern. Unsure if the Bob Lord is too small for this to get a good angle ? The roof on the BL is low and there are the stanchions. The cameras, if situ...

Re: Sacking Kompany
I wouldn’t sacrifice the VK playing style as yet. We’ve built our team to fit his principles just like we did last season. We could however do with a little ‘Dychism’ to close down games and shut up shop (f.eg. bringing on Eckdal). I use the word Dychism in the sense of prioritising results over st...

Fact is yesterday we created more chances than they did. We were better for much of the game. Fact is we can't defend. Fact is we aren't scoring from open play. We could/ should have been two goals to the good at half time. It's bordering on criminal that we haven't got a goal scorer.

Everton’s upcoming games are (in no order) United, City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Spurs, Forest……and……us at the Turf under the lights. In that time we have West Ham, Sheffield, Wolves, Brighton, Fulham, Liverpool and of course Everton. After those games we could be 10 points behind again, but we could a...

Simply put Everton have been deducted ten points for breaking FFP rules for the period ending 21/22. If that penalty had been applied at the end of 21/22 we wouldn’t have been relegated no matter how rubbish we were. True what you mention there but these investigations take time Everton though had ...

There’s obviously more to it behind the scenes but I cannot fathom why Weghorst was sent on loan leaving us with just 2 strikers. Either its fear of us booing him, squad unpleasure with his return, or a falling out with Vinny. With hindsight (glorious thing) its another barmy decision in the summer...

I don't remember Arsenal demanding urgent action on refereeing standards a few years when when they scored the winning goal at Turf Moor when: 1. The corner which led to the goal was not a corner. 2. The corner was taken after the period of added time. 3. The corner taken was a short corner (giving...

Disagree entirely about it being a “total disaster” Our best players yesterday were Koleosho, Amdouni and Berge. All bought in the summer. It was unbalanced, but I don’t think there’s any doubting the quality of the players we bought in. As of now the problems are the players we didn't bring in ( i...

Much better today, though that’s also illustrative of how bad we’ve been. Confidence looks rock bottom but they stuck at it.
