Again Trafford is the central theme in this thread when it shouldn’t be the case. It should be the inept Manager who keeps putting him in the firing line.
Or, the inept attackers with the team scoring less than a goal a game. Concede one goal and the likelihood is we ain’t going to win the game.

Nobody more surprised than me to see Trafford start the season for us, especially v Man City. Maybe i shouldn’t have been considering how much we paid for Trafford…. Re: ALK’s Strategy: Are We Witnessing A Failing Experiment?

My biggest fear is that Vincent Kompany and the owners view winning the Championship next season as a foregone conclusion given the previous title winning season with a haul of 101 points. That would be a huge mistake and enough have been made already. The Season 2022/23 was the weakest Championship...

Just to add, for all of the seasons that Vincent Kompany spent at Manchester City he clearly didn’t learn much from Pep Guardiola if he underestimated the need for a commanding figure on the pitch to lead the team and having a strong defensive midfielder. During the many seasons he spent at City Kom...

In his post match press conference Jurgen Klopp’s opening remark was “somebody reminded me there is an old English saying “you can’t win anything with kids” and laughs. I wonder if he was told that it was Liverpool legend Alan Hansen who made the remark whilst appearing on MOTD.

Very often the type of problem (hernia) that Foster has required surgery to correct is listed as a groin injury or simply groin.
Looking at yesterday’s paper almost every club had players unavailable with problems listed in almost every case be it ankle, knee, back, groin, hamstring or shoulder etc.

On MOTD there was hardly any discussion on Burnley’s performance. At one point Micah Richards says “I’ve watched Burnley several times this season and since coming up they’ve simply failed to adapt.” Lineker interjects and says “that’s true” and continues to talk about Glasner and Crystal Palace.
