Extremely unlikely but you never know, maybe it was all about him playing today. What strikes me the most odd about the Orsic situation is that everything seems to be coming from the club and not from the player. You would think he would put on social media that he is staying or leaving, but instea...

Re: NFL. Brady
Nothing wrong with the question. They tend to class anything over 50% wins during the season as 'winning' so 9 wins, 7 losses for example they would also classify 8-8 as a "winning" record as well. The 7 super bowls are probably his biggest achievement, since they are very difficult to get to multi...

More about identifying players with certain attributes that others are overlooking, who will bring missing or required qualities to the team. I wouldn’t class C...

I think ship has sailed to buy any player on the cheap. Every other league knows that the PL is flush with cash, and will price their players accordingly (i.e. they will charge an arm an a leg). i think the scouting is going in the right direction. Cornet would probably not have been signed under th...

I like Lennon. Even at 34, he would still be the fastest player on the team. He would be a useful late sub, fresh quick legs to close down players and put in a defensive shift.

The irony is that the Super League really isn't about forming a competitive league top to bottom, its really about keeping the elite clubs at the top. I guess my concern is, if we keep these youngsters here, are they going to get any meaningful game time staying here, either in the PL or with our other squads.
Its great to see Benson and Mumbongo briefly play but hopefully it doesn't stunt their professional development.

Not sure what you are getting at. We are now at the highest level of u23 football in the country having gone Cat 1. Players benefit from going out on loan when we can get them out, Benson and Glennon at Grimsby last season being good examples. It would seem better to keep them here on our under-23 ...
