I don’t think Crooks watches football matches. Gordon Banks has been in the news, so my money would be on him being named in the team of the week.

Charlie’s a huge miss. It will be dangerous if Both Cork and Brownhill are missing. Wood’s goals and defensive duties are desperately needed and an on form Brady is a match winner.

Exactly. These people are so dramatic jumping from one extreme to the other without any middle ground. If Dyche was seriously concerned about injuries then why did mcneil play? Heaven forbid he change formation Dyche’s success has been built entirely around the defence and its covering midfield two...

A couple old timers with a few raw glass collectors who have never played football together as a team before. The manager forgetting the paperwork and having to make a last minute phone call to get a young kid out of bed to replace his (banned) part-time cellarman. Playing a cup match against a lowe...

Vydra is a quality footballer, but his impact is in some way down to the fact that teams prepare for Burnley and how we play football. Vydra isn’t typical of our ‘style of play’ and so impacts the game accordingly. Opposition players will consciously or sub consciously prepare for the task at hand....

So we’ll have a change of keeper + Bardsley, Long, Stephens and Rodriguez (possibly Benson) who are likely to start. That’s six so which players from today’s team do you think the manager will risk?

Mr Pace and his team retained the services of two board members to oversee, provide guidance and to enable a smooth handover.
I would think it highly likely that Mr Garlick’s duties are to advise the new chairman with all transfer negotiations and new contracts.

The problem is that both Brady and JBG are natural left footers, so are less comfortable playing defensively on the right and both wingers routinely cut inside to cross with their favoured left foot when attacking. Opposition coaches know all of these weaknesses and will set up to exploit them.

I wonder if our ex-chairman has been put in charge of negotiations as we have seen this style of bidding before. This seems a low starting point especially as there is a distinct possibility that we will be getting £5-6m from a Norwich promotion for Gibson.

The manager will go with the same preferred lineup with two barge poles up front and ironically this is probably the best game for these tactics. Liverpool have their injury problems in central defence and are playing various makeshift combinations. I think that they definitely have a weakness in th...

Goalkeeper and back 4 pick themselves. JBG, Brownhill, Westwood and Dwight in midfield. I would then like to see Brady in a roving role behind Rodriguez up top.

The postponement of the Fulham game gives us the chance to get our crocked players a chance to get back to match fitness. I wouldn’t risk any of the current defence (including Pope) nor any of the midfield.
Bring back Cork, Vydra, Bards, Rodders and JBG plus give Stephens and Benson a full game.

Should have been subbed today for Jay. Didn’t attack the ball in the air as he usually does and his ball-control on the ground was non-existent. Takes a lot of knocks and needs a rest.
