Re: Your starting X1 vs Man United
Reading between the lines, Dunne, Long and BPF must have been 3 of them - all 3 would definitely have been involved at the weekend, I'm sure. So that would mean one of Westwood/Brownhill was rested/injured and one was positive. I would guess Brownhill was positive only based on who he mates around ...

Re: Does anybody else find Man City boring?
I wish we could afford the players to play a 'happy medium'. I prefer the old fashioned English style of getting crosses into the box to the strikers, although the long ball from the back up to the strikers can also get a little boring. I hate passing it around for the sake of it, but having the pla...

I was still at school in the 60s, but I don't ever remember clubs being referred to by their perceived 'size'. They were just football clubs. Obviously Man Utd always were always seemed to be referred to in deferential manner but I think that was mainly due to the 'Munich' effect. I think the increa...

Funnily enough it’s the bottom half of the table I’d rather get tickets for, I’m not arsed about the big clubs, I’ll watch those at home I'm fully in agreement with this. I still have my season ticket even though I live in Bournemouth. I would much rather make a 600 mile round trip to see a game ag...

Re: West Brom v Burnley on Sky Box Office
It's not so much the £14.95 that annoys me, it's the ridiculous times the games are being played. I would happily pay to watch the game at 3pm on a Saturday (or similar time). I'm certainly not going to pay to watch the game at 5.30 on a Monday or 8pm on a Saturday night for that matter. These times...

I don't think, as far as offsides go, that VAR is the problem, it's the actual law, which states that if any part of the attacker is ahead of the defender, it's offside. I think it would be better if offside only occurred if there was clear daylight between the players. If any part of the torso is o...
