Re: Burnley make £22.2 million profit in 2016/17
In August though, we sold Keane for £20m and Gray for £18m so surely this amount is greatly understated, how can these accounts show a true and fair view? There is reference to Keane, Gray and others in the accounts but they were sold after the accounting yer so couldn't be included. The accounts a...

I remember watching the Youth Team lose at home in the Youth Cup to Metropolitan Police a couple of seasons ago. That was the nadir - worst Youth Team I've seen at Burnley in 50 years. He’s kept up his excellent form from the sound of things. A Stanley supporting mate reckons he’s the best centre half they’ve had. Very promising considering they've had Kevin Long there too and he’s done well when called upon in the Prem this year. I've not seen him play at all this season because...

Didn't think he could have long left but wasn't expecting that news today.
Gareth Barry, albeit out injured, was out in a nightclub on Friday night. That wouldn't happen at Burnley, nor would we be nicking taxis on a training camp. They have clearly undermined him from day one.

Just on a more cautionary note, Jack Cork was booked. Is ten yellows still resulting in a two game ban? Think Cork has nine now but stand to be corrected. Thanks. The cut off is 32 league games and we've played 31. Cork is currently on 8 with Barnes & Bardsley on 7 - so with one game to go we are c...

I think we've moved on now. Our squad, our team, is considerably stronger when any of Jay Rod, Austin, Ings were with us. Two of those three don't play much either because of injuries.
All three were terrific for us, don't think anyone could question that, but we move on.

Yeah, I only noticed as lots were getting pictures with him so I had a good chat with him at half time. He was very open and speaking to lots of supporters.
