By the sounds of it our military should have applied for jobs as drivers.
Already driving the ambulances north of the border and now people want them driving petrol tankers.
In a few weeks they will be busy plucking the turkeys.

Tbf, I’m with Octopus and they usually email me if anything is awry. I’ve sometimes just entered a rough reading that’s a bit high and they’ve emailed to query it. That is what I would have hoped for and expected from a competent Energy supplier (I am also with Octopus so good to know). Either for ...

"More inclusive"
When the men and women start playing each other, then it will have relevance.
Until then it's just more sandal wearing nonsense.
I think that the "more inclusive" comment was intended for junior level where mixed teams play the sport.

I’m sure they can, can’t they? From what the OP says the laws have just been reworded to apply to both genders. It could get a bit longwinded if they read; Law 749 - the batsman or batswoman… The change has been heralded by those running the women's game as making the sport "more inclusive" especia...

It defies all logic that customers of the failed smaller energy firms would be able to retain their existing deals and enjoy cheap energy for the next 6 to 12 months. With hundreds of thousands of customers from these failing companies having to be bailed out by the larger energy firms the costs to ...

It is widely predicted that Ofgem will increase the Energy Price Cap by as much as £280 next April as gas and electricity is currently being sold to customers at less than cost. The days of "Cheap" energy are over for the foreseeable future.

Seemingly the larger Energy suppliers seem happy to see the smaller operators going out of business leaving it to a handful of the largest operators to service the needs of customers. Safe in the knowledge that the Energy Price Cap will be uplifted by a further £280.00 from 1st April next year, and ...

As I understand it with the Energy Price Cap in place companies are currently selling gas and electricity at a huge loss. The more customers that the existing suppliers take on from failing businesses the bigger their losses become also. No wonder the government is having to consider offering State ...

If your idea of judging a young persons intelligence is how good they are at memorising things to help them get through a test then I think you are looking at things all wrong. There's far more to intelligence than learning facts, dates, events etc and being able to memorise for a test of maybe for...

Teaching methods do appear to have gone backwards. I know I'm probably an old fart, but when I was at school you had to memorise things as you went along, in order to pass tests and end of year exams.
Why memorise a load of stuff when you can just Google it?

I'm pretty sure we have relegation clauses, that's one of the reasons why some players don't sign, or stay, so the wage bill would drop automatically.
I've always wondered whether these relegation clauses apply also to the manager and his coaching staff or is it just the players?

Some people showing how staggeringly clueless they are when it comes to football. Do you really think the way we play is as simple as ‘track back when you lose the ball’. Mind boggling.
Of course not.
When Cornet finds himself in a wide position he also has to learn "On my head son".

Probably one of the many reasons why clubs at the very top employ foreign coaches and managers. Thomas Tuchel obviously speaks...
