Re: Four years ago today - at Ewood

Came up in my facebook feed this morning - gave me a warm glow. I had the twisted pleasure of watching from the Jack Walker Stand and hooting my horn all the way through Blackburn on my home. On the way there I drove past a banner hanging outside Westholme School saying: 'Same Again Dunny' - when I ...

Does 7th get us into the Europa League ? Or does it depend on who wins the FA Cup (IE if a top 4 team wins the FA Cup, then there'd be an extra Europa League place)

I don't think Tarks will be going anywhere. Move north for his family and will have seen what has happened to Keane since his move and how Cork revived his career since his move here. He’s a United fan though Firthy, if he does happen to be selected ahead for England honours ahead of Smalling, then...

Re: Southgate looks to Tarkowsky

Yes I think there can be little doubt he and Defour are our most important players, especially given the fact that we were less impaired in our results when Mee was missing than when Tarks was out. The only danger is whether Tarks playing for England immediately results in him ‘outgrowing’ the club ...

Ironic that some on here moan about ‘hoofball’ after a match where SD picked a team designed to play more of a possession game, rather than the more direct line-up deployed against City. Granted there were one or two fairly agricultural clearances from the back but playing Westwood was clearly an at...

McTominay looks a good prospect to be fair, but I can’t see a lot of evidence that Mourinho really improves players when you look at this team. Pogba’s demise and rashford’s disappearance cases in point. That said if they don’t lose it’s a fine result, which I guess it what Mourinho does.
