Ah nice! Would that cover me on the non-ICE route Frankfurt Airport to Mainz then? Yeah, just go to the Regionalbahnhof in the Airport and jump on either the RE trains or the S8 to Mainz. It's about 25 minutes. Worth downloading the RMV app, or going to rmv.de, it's pretty straight forward to use

Re: 2023/24: Mainz 05 v Burnley – Ticket Information
Note for anyone who is going, on the bottom of your ticket, you will note another QR code which has RMV Kombi written on it. This should give you free travel on the RMV public transport network all day on the 5th August until 4am on the morning of the 6th. This generally covers S-Bahn, U-Bahn, RE Ba...

Re: Mainz game being streamed
I've just checked the Mainz website, and they are listing it as 15:30 kick off, which is 14:30 UK time.
They also note it's 2 x 45 minute halves, plus and additional 30 minutes. Not sure why, but I've read that a couple of times now.

Exactly how 20/20 cricket started a generation a go when it was aimed at the younger and family orientated market to bring new people into the game. We don't need a third kit against anyone. In fact no team should need one, other than for retail purposes. Whilst there might not be an obvious colour clash to most folk, there's the possibility of the colours affecting colour blind folk isn't there? There was an article out a few years back about it

Anyway enough of arguing about the greatest fast bowler of all time, I've just landed back in Manchester and am greeted with this weather at the hallowed ground.
Hoping it improves in a bit as I'm itching for a cricket fix as there's bugger all in Germany.

Re: 5th Ashes test
Maybe that first class cricketer can tell Jimmy that. He thinks he’s had a poor series He doesn't, it's only you that thinks that. Everyone else can see the benefit of him bowling economically. Anderson bowled with an economy of 2.65 in the second test, this enabled the others to attack, and they a...

There's literally a first class cricketer posting on this thread explaining how important it is that Anderson is bowling economically, and the impact this has on the team, yet he's still apparently had a poor series. Jesus wept.

Fair enough if that’s your thought process. All I know is he is lowest wicket taker in the whole of the ashes. Even Joe Root has the same amount as wickets but he has only bowled in 3 innings not 6. Again really surprised Can’t believe Anderson is playing Been poor all series He's not been poor at all. Don’t buy supermarket bacon. A quality butcher or deli should be able to supply bacon that will satisfy your tastebuds. I never usually buy supermarket meat, but even butcher's bacon doesn't do it for me, unless it's on a bagel with cheese and cranberry sauce. Which somewhat negates the decent bacon.
