Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
I’m basing it purely on our business so far. Sell, get rid of our current performers and buy unproven talent. Collins and McNeil were the two players we needed to build our promotion push around. Are you actually planning to attend this season, or just mainly snipe from the sidelines as usual?

I'm not sure how anyone can possibly know if we're promotion contenders yet.
How do I know this? Well... we haven't played a sodding game yet!

30 is nothing for a goalkeeper, he could have 8 or 9 years left yet.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
That's true, but he was a regular at Stoke in the Championship and now has Premier League experience under his belt. That would be invaluable with the players we now have in. Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer him to stay, but he's far from the finished article, as his naivety in that final league game...

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
New policy of buying youth is only good if we keep our experienced players. We can't expect to challenge for promotion with Hardwood-Bellis, Egan-Riley, Keving Long and Luke McNally as our centre backs. It's just not going to happen. Pace seems intent on accepting any offer we get for our senior pr...

Who will be our Captain?
Simple question.
With Westwood not fit yet, will it be Cork?
It doesn't look as though any of the new recruits have the necessary experience, so who else is there?
Jay Rod or Barnes?

After Cullen and the keeper are sorted I hope we’re going all out for a centre forward who we can be fairly certain will notch 15-20.
