New Telly

Feel like treating myself.
Rather than going wandering round the aisles until I get pounced on - are there any particular makes that stand out (always think the Samsung in the White Bear, Barrowford is a cracking picture). Any particular spec to be aiming for?

I was talking to a guy who used to work at the Imp in his student days. He had to fill in one night and operate the lights for a band as someone didn't turn up. He did all right apparently and one of the band thanked him afterward - John Lennon. He signed a poster for him for the gig. I asked him if...

We were sat in the Park End looking across at the Burnley fans enviously. It is no fun sitting on your hands when we are winning! The moaning and booing that was going on from the start was weird. A dying breed if ever there was one. I know the BBC and others have an agenda to increase the representation of women and also minority groups on our screens - no problem with that. I went to Whalley a year ago. They had a good look and then sent me on my way: "I could sell you some boots, but with those feet you need something made just for you". That was good of them as I was ready to spend in there.
I will give Altberg a look.
