Re: 9/11
Not sure you've answered one question there. I didn't doubt the air force were called, just seems odd to have zero planes within any distance of the capital capable of making an attempt to recon with the plane. Especially as it occurred after the first plane hit (?) so surely that's when the traini...

Re: 9/11
How long was the report into 9/11? How soon did it be t published? How quickly was the wreckage disposed of and evidence seized? It wasn't planned by the US government but there are so many holes in it you have to question the given story. What about the flight path of the plane that hit the pentag...

Re: 9/11
How the US government left this man in charge of their most secret operation is beyond me.

Re: 9/11
What do you think? Because the BBC did announce its collapse beforehand! ...comprende So the US government told the tv networks wtc7 was going to collapse. Months of keeping the attacks quite they blow the cover 30mins before it happened. Right. Ive been quietly reading this thread and not commenti...

Re: Tom Heaton linked with Liverpool
Great goalkeepers make a huge difference in the defence. Look at United in the Fergie years. When they had a great keeper in schmichael and a great defence they had success and Schmichael was a huge part of that. Years later they bought Van der Sar in his 'twilight' years because they struggled with...

Little and Blake. When they had the ball no matter where on the pitch you sat up, moved to the edge of your seat in anticipation of something magical.

Re: Where the season may go wrong.
Surviving would be fantastic progression. Thats the aim first and foremost. He get enough points on the board by March/April we move the target. Like in the way Ranieri was doing all last season with Leicester.

Re: Where the season may go wrong.
It was a worthy draw but could easily have been a rout. Our defence is excellent but it does need periods of rest, traffic is just too one way at present we need to gain some measure of parity in midfield. But it wasn't. We changed our system to one which has been successful for us so that we could...

Re: Where the season may go wrong.
We were never gonna dominate a game at old trafford ffs. I was a great point. Keep taking points off the bigger teams and there is far less presure on against the so called must wins.

Re: Self-Driving Cars
You're a proper bundle of joy aren't you? Have you forgotten about the IRA setting up car bombs, or vans with mortars in the back set to fire at a predetermined time etc? You can't calculate or program for terrorists, just like you humanly can't stop them now. As for the emergency services, I...

Re: Self-Driving Cars
Lorries are currently checked more regularly before every journey, that's mandatory, its 95% of cars that aren't checked before every journey, due to lack of knowledge/ignorance or a simple desire to do so. Rules/regulations could be put in place that self driving lorries aren't allowed down certai...

Re: Self-Driving Cars
What does this mean for getaway drivers? Is this the end of bank jobs?
Seriously though, what about the emergency services?
Or terrorists for that matter, planting a bomb in a car and sending to a city centre?

Re: Self-Driving Cars
So what happens if the technology fails on a lorry whilst going past a school at home time? Just go over the lolly pop lady and pupils? Good idea but can't see it being safe. You'll have to make the equivalent of preflight checks before every journey.

I missed it last night watching soccer special. If there were more Tuesday night games Id love the Prem League. That in itself would make the league far more competitive.
