Re: Trafford individual errors/points lost
I am a big Muric fan and I was from the very first game. The majority of people don't seem to realise how difficult it is to be a goalkeeper. Every position has its difficulties but a goalkeeping error often leads to losing a goal. Goalkeeper errors are a regular occurance. I have seen umpteen goalk...

Re: Fed up
If we are talking about the goals we conceded, the second was poor. Ekdal struggled for the whole of the first half and we may not see him again in a Burnley shirt unless he was carrying an injury. The first goal was a deflection leaving Trafford clutching at thin air. It happens. The rest of the ha...

Fed up
Fed up of reading abusive posts about our own players and manager. They are becoming so commonplace that the mods who have a difficult enough job on here are letting things go that have previously not been allowed. There seems to be no player exempt from abusive criticism. I'm just glad the three ne...

Re: Can you sack a manager at half time ?
VK is the right man for the job. He has improved the quality of the squad this season. There have been crucial mistakes made, but the biggest have been in game mistakes, by the players. VK and his coaches don't coach mistakes, they happen in games of football. The clubs with the better players make ...

I think both Trafford and Muric are both calm but Muric probably has the bigger ego. Muric wasn't looking for a draw as in a league game and the point that comes with it. I'm pretty sure he was trying to win the game. That's football. We are probably better off being out of the Cup this season, but ...

OK, so which of your two categories that you have beautifully outlined above, would you put Lyle in. Unlikely to be the second one. So closer to the first category then. By your own 'general prognosis', that makes bfcmik pretty much spot on, I would say.

The way VK is trying to get us to play is footballers at the back to take the pressure off defensive situations, that is why Maatsen in the team worked. It is where Taylor struggles a little and why we aren't as strong on the right side either although Vitinho is at the moment possibly our best avai...

I am 100% in favour of getting an agreed fee for any player who is not able to force themselves into our match day squad, provided that Alan P and Vincent K are in agreement. As long as manager and chairman are in agreement, the club is strong.

It's clear to see that VK's instructions are to play football, whether we are level, leading or behind. Just like Brighton and Spurs to name 2. Thought Amdouni and Odobert also had good games, turning people and going past them. Unfortunately we also gave away possession too easily, too often, but the signs are definitely improving.
