Re: Pool vs The Clarets
Currently overcast, 1 degree feeling like minus 5 here in SW Ontario. Not a bad day for this time of year, scattered flurries forecast for later in the day. Good to see Taylor back, we obviously need him to play well today, hopefully linking up well with McNiel. Looks like a strong bench today, howe...

Re: Burnley v Manchester United - Match Thread
It's what I can only describe as a miserable day here in SW Ontario. Minus 6 degrees, cloudy, damp and some kind of freezing mist. My condo car park is getting slippery, I hope they salt it soon. I'm not confident of a positive outcome vs United today, hopefully we can avoid a battering, 0-2 would b...

Cobble, I presume you are referring to the one on Thursfield Rd. On the same block lived well known post war Burnley player Reg Attwell. Also a popular shop for kids was old Ma Halsteads corner shop on Mittella St, especially for Towneley pupils. It’s the wedge shape building opp the kids park. You...

Almost a picture-perfect early winter day here in SW Ontario. Minus 6 degrees, a fresh blanket of snow, no wind and not a cloud in the sky.....beautiful :D It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out our next two games could go a long way in deciding our PL future. I'm going for a 2-0 win today, c...

A dull day here in SW Ontario, 2 degrees and overcast, no snow in the forecast. Looks like the whole Province is going into lockdown on Dec 24th, could be a long winter
As far as todays game is concerned, I have a good feeling about the outcome, 2-1 Clarets.

I completely disagree, the cars are not designed to take “that kind of impact” that was Armco barriers he hit, almost head on. Armco barriers are designed to protect against side impacts not head on, and the cars are not engineered with hitting arm Armco barrier head on. Most areas of the track are...

I've just about given up on F1, it's become so boring. Decided to watch this race because night races look so cool. As others have mentioned, it's a long time since an F1 car burst into flames! How the car got cut in half will need some investigation. Kudos to car designers, incredible he walked away.

Rory must be ruing his slow start again at a major, this is becoming an unwelcome habit for him. Totally agree.
