This season has been a write-off for a while now, but he has to be given the opportunity to put things right next season.

I think he's looked poor and disinterested all season but his sub appearance tonight was genuinely shocking. A 'performance' like that in a game like that is completely unacceptable. You've got wonder what on earth was going through Kompany's mind bringing him on, especially at that stage of the game.
