Stuart's post on social media indicated that there was a real possibility that this might be Scott''s last appearance for Burnley and, if so, that they'd have fantastic memories to treasure for always. I guess a lot of footballers reach a stage with their club when their future starts to become quit...

Doesn't seem very long ago (circa June 2015) that we were fretting about SD taking the vacant post at Sunderland; didn't it emerge later that he was quite close, or was that a bit of a myth? If it was true then he might well be similarly interested in the Palace job; let's hope it comes to nothing.

Once we'd signed Brady I was probably expecting that SA would drop out of the starting 11 for the remainder of the season, but then how often do new players play to their strengths right from the start? At Palace it seemed as if Scott had been rejuvenated, perhaps the competition is what he needs. B...

Parked up near Richmond, SW London station to get the overground in the direction of Wembley. Saw one Claret but no other football fans for the first 30 mins. Changed trains and immediately noticed a familiar face looking at me from the other end of the carriage. "Can't be", I thought, looked again,...

They've only been out of the bottom 3 on a few occasions this season. It's been great to watch them suffer that indignity for month after month. If they do scramble clear on Sunday then at least we can look forward to more of the same angst next season, too, probably.

Unfortunately, it's likely that the "warning about future conduct" could also be intended to protect against him attempting to enter a football ground. If, as CTU pointed out in #57, the club wish to sell MK, then it sounds as if it's inevitable one way or another. Not much of the Wall left to see now; you can get a good, long view of a relatively longish section from across the river on the Kreuzberg side. Not sure when that would've been MrH, but the area's populace has changed a bit in recent years (since the build up to/post the Olympics). Certainly in 60s, 70s and 80s Stratford was one of a number of WHU heartlands (but not exclusively so, with Orient also not far away.)
