That's certainly worth noting. Michael, if you are on your way, could it be to Southampton please?ClaretTony wrote:If we were doing a swap deal with Everton, or any other club, with Keane, we could reduce the values of each player thus forcing us to pay less to Manchester United.

Stuart's post on social media indicated that there was a real possibility that this might be Scott''s last appearance for Burnley and, if so, that they'd have fantastic memories to treasure for always. I guess a lot of footballers reach a stage with their club when their future starts to become quit...

Doesn't seem very long ago (circa June 2015) that we were fretting about SD taking the vacant post at Sunderland; didn't it emerge later that he was quite close, or was that a bit of a myth? If it was true then he might well be similarly interested in the Palace job; let's hope it comes to nothing.

With way too much time on our hands for a few weeks some of us might be having a crack at some long overdue odd jobs around the house. Once we'd signed Brady I was probably expecting that SA would drop out of the starting 11 for the remainder of the season, but then how often do new players play to their strengths right from the start? At Palace it seemed as if Scott had been rejuvenated, perhaps the competition is what he needs. B...

Parked up near Richmond, SW London station to get the overground in the direction of Wembley. Saw one Claret but no other football fans for the first 30 mins. Changed trains and immediately noticed a familiar face looking at me from the other end of the carriage. "Can't be", I thought, looked again,...

When I was little I loved gollies, as they were referred to at home. Did I grow up then to believe that black men were only worthy of menial, subservient roles in society? No, because that's not what I understood the Golly to represent and also because in that same era there were plenty of black per...

They've only been out of the bottom 3 on a few occasions this season. It's been great to watch them suffer that indignity for month after month. If they do scramble clear on Sunday then at least we can look forward to more of the same angst next season, too, probably.

Unfortunately, it's likely that the "warning about future conduct" could also be intended to protect against him attempting to enter a football ground. If, as CTU pointed out in #57, the club wish to sell MK, then it sounds as if it's inevitable one way or another. Not much of the Wall left to see now; you can get a good, long view of a relatively longish section from across the river on the Kreuzberg side. You could then wander over Oberbaumbrucke (bridge) to get a closer look, if that appeals. The DDR museum is quite small and gets crowded at weekends, but o...

Not sure when that would've been MrH, but the area's populace has changed a bit in recent years (since the build up to/post the Olympics). Certainly in 60s, 70s and 80s Stratford was one of a number of WHU heartlands (but not exclusively so, with Orient also not far away.)

The Boleyn ground was further from the Olympic stadium than Leyton is, but then the Boleyn Ground wasn't in West Ham either.
