Re: Would I Lie To You

Not Going Out is akin to Miranda and Mrs Browns Boys...some of the worst ‘comedy’ I’ve ever seen. In fact, the BBC haven’t got comedy right since the 80s, if you want genuinely good comedy you have to go to Channel 4. I don't like Miranda or Mrs Brown's Boys either, but everybody is different. I kn...

Re: January Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome

I honestly wouldn't be against a possible return for Gray. We are seriously lacking some explosive pace up top. I doubt he'd be interested in making the move back up north to be honest though. I'm thinking the same, as an impact sub of course. But like you say, I very much anticipate he wouldn't wa...

Re: January Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome

I suppose it all depends if there's a clause were they have to buy end of the season It would still mean we need another forward. Jay, Wood or Barnes get injured and we don't have a proven forward on the bench. It would be madness, but thankfully, I'm sure we wouldn't end up in that situation. I do...

He does play Vydra though. He doesn't give him many minutes, but he's still an option from the bench. It would be daft to only have 3 recognised forwards.

Why would we even consider letting him go out on loan. Surely if we bring in a replacement striker then we would sell him to recoup some money. Vydra will never make it at Burnley, don't know what the problem is but he just doen't to fit in with SD and his plans. Agree. Vydra is an option on the be...

Dyche will have a few selection dilemmas come Sunday although with Fulham in the bottom 3, losing could give them a lift, which we don't want. At the same time, we have the likes of JBG and Brady who are made of glass, so would want to delay the inevitable for as long as possible. Vydra and Jay must...

It was a great win, but we're still only 1 point ahead of games played. 1 point per game is 38 points which will surely keep us up. So while it was a nice bonus to collect 3 points that seemed unlikely, we still need 1-2 players to come in as we're still in a fight. Otherwise, we're relying on impor...

When was the last time we had everybody fit? Opinions will differ on who should/shouldn't start but we have good options from the bench - Taylor's return is a massive plus - especially paired with McNeil on the left
Apparently around a year since we had a fully fit side to choose from.

I think we can forget about signing King. West Ham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, West Brom and Everton are also interested.

The latest on Knight comes across like we'll get him if we actually make an offer. But as of yet, suggestions that we haven't so far.

In F1 you're not allowed to drive/race again for a set period of time, I think it's minimum of 2 weeks as the recovery period is 2-3 weeks. I'd assume it will be the same in football, if player has concussion no footballing activities allowed for 2 weeks as a minimum. That could work - although gue...

Dyche has job security. When you filter out the clubs he has no chance of going to, and those who from Covid, don't have enough money to give to guarantee promotion from the Championship, there's not many / none left that would offer him that job security.
