Certainly doesn't sound like Wood was planning to raise his game anytime soon so I'm hoping this will prove to be excellent business for us. With a World Cup tournament looming there will be players currently on the fringes of top teams desperately wanting more game time.. the loan market may be our best chance of a short term fix.

I don't know the exact figures but you seem to think you do because you say Newcastle bagged him at a good price, I don't, sky say fee 12 million rising to 25 million, several say wage between 100 and 140k a week even on the lower end that's 5.2 million a year and that's around 13 million without b...

A change of shape, relegation and all of those players leaving will allow us to completely rebuild and move forward. Let's hope so.. we've been devoid of positivity for far too long.. promotion while we're still receiving parachute payments will be a must. Ideally, stringing together some results b...

Have you not been watching us play for 2 years? you want us to retain the same 4 boring non scoring strikers? I'd agree to an extent but it doesn't matter who the forwards are if most of the time they've got their backs to goal and the ball's sailing over their heads. I think we need a complete cha...

How has he improved Norwich significantly?? I'd say Dean Smith has more about him than Farke and he'll improve the infrastructure at Norwich. 50% of me agrees but then the ither 50% is tired of seeing what Dyche offers up as a standard of football, which is not all his problem as past transfer windows have seriously affected his hand but its the defensive 442 and long ball to channels, and the mantra of legs hearts mind is definitely no ...

The problem as I see it is last season we stayed up on the back of some unusual wins away to Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton etc. This season if we're not beating teams around us then it makes games against those top half teams much more 'must win'. Wolves are in form so I'd rank tonight as a 'mustn't l...

Yesterday was a huge disappointment.
Brighton are one of the teams we should be taking points from and it just makes games against top ten teams so much more important.
We're fashionably slow starters so hopefully this season we get in the groove quickly and pick up some morale boosting points.
