I was stood there with them at the end when the subs were doing their warm down. Little ‘un wanted one of their shirts so we were hovering. Barnes was one of them. They did it in two batches, Barnes was in the second one.
Suspect this is all adding 2 and 2 and getting 5.

Paywalls can easily be dodged - for The Times articles on the Ipad I hit the ‘x’ the instant the page loads and it doesn’t bring up the paywall. OK interview but Henry is a bit of a leftie and I found it a bit boring. Nothing about playing style, ambition for this season, specific players or even th...

Negativity says more about the person uttering it than the person referred to. We support a fairly downtrodden area, and this does come across on here and in the stands at times. I try not to be too condescending about negative folk, they may have had a naff run of luck for all I know. Saying that t...

Those remarks by jdrobbo - the TV (as I couldn’t go tonight) picked up all of that but the ratings rules have always made sense. I agree, he was atrocious, the two things he did get right were the added time and the red card.

Definite THB error that goal, ball watching and didn’t have a clue what Wiles was doing despite him starting in his eyeline, he should have told Beyer to take his man and dropped back to Wiles. I got abuse on here for bringing up Olympiacos at various times in recent years but I believed at the time, and ever since, that Mee would have had the hump with Dyche for sitting in the stand being spat at instead of playing. Re: Wout WEeghorst
There are three big factors:
1. Does he want to return?
2. Does Kompany want him after what we have heard about Vinny not wanting people who think they are superstars?
3. Did the players fall out with him (Roberts etc)?
If the answer to all those is favourable, fine.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. We’ve been caught out last season by resting players ahead of a bigger game and we lose both. We could lose at Blades whoever plays so we need 3 points vs Rotherham first, that is the top priority. If we get a goal or two up, we then make subs to keep freshness for S...

Don’t know why his size is mentioned. He’s a tricky winger, he’s better small as it improves his agility. It’s not like he’s not strong on the ball either, you can tell he’s a natural athlete look at his legs. Same thing with benson, he can change direction way quicker than anyone else I’ve seen at...

A little early for him to be going to the World Cup as a late inclusion, he is probably behind Ramazani in the U21 pecking order, but their wingers aren’t playing much for their club sides (apart from KDB obvs) and that is a big danger for them in Qatar. Seeing like we are trying to play like City we should take another leaf out of that book.
We go into each game confident we will win, get behind them, if we don’t win (which of course happens) we simply move on.

Logic would suggest that unless there was a managerial change it would be up, possibly (but far from certain) down, but if so then definitely back up again. We would be in a much stronger position in 2 years time to bounce back again. So we shouldn’t fear promotion, and do need the money.

When we raise our game to a certain level other teams can’t handle it. The question is whether we can do it for sustained periods.

The problem with pre-pouring is that in a pandemic (and a current resurgence) it isn’t safe to leave them sat out in the open. At that point the punter hasn’t bought it so there will be different health and safety aspects, businesses can only sell food and drink fit for purchase.

May be giving with one hand and taking with the other, e.g. a pay rise but looser terms on dismissal. Who knows?
He’ll be gone by the World Cup. He did well but was lucky to get them up in the first place.

We are unbeaten in 9, we are creeping closer to the top, and moving closer to being bookies favourites.
As I have written on the other thread, we need Twine, ideally in the Brownhill role, who can rotate with Jack and Josh. That will make us more attacking.
