There is another - a plan and purpose that the team is all working to. We look like we don't play with each other all week Just out of interest, why did you post a lot of criticism after the Fulham game, and again after the Arsenal game, but you went quiet for the week of the Liverpool game? The difference now is that every team has flair players who can do damage, different even to 2 years ago. In the past of the lower teams it would just be Palace with Zaha and a few other similar examples. Now we have 20-30 flair players across 10 clubs around the lower end, all capable of grabbing t...

Re: Home before the final whistle
First time I have left early since Man City beat us 6-0 in League One. Mind you, I felt we were not as bad as many claim. Way short, but they were superb. The finishing was so good, playing a front five whenever they had possession was simply brutal. So hard to cope with and it wore us down by about...

A - 10 B - 5 C - 15 D - 12 An appalling ref totally out of his depth who blew the instant any Arsenal fell over. My instinct live was the pen was a dive over a planted leg (not allowed using the convention this season). That ended the game as a contest. I know the big clubs have fixed this league by...

Some usual nonsense about lack of fight. It always looks like that when the game goee, but there was plenty of fight earlier. Ramsey on Saka for which he got a yellow was superb. Fofana tried to outpace and outmuscle them o'Shea dived into several big headers and clearances. Assignon was busy.

In training he's up against the same goalkeeper as last season and another keeper who is of similar ability. He's also up against a left back who wasn't deemed good enough to play there last season and a centre half who is playing out of position. It's not like he's training against peak Buffon and...

What the knockers fail to grasp is that he is up against a Premier league defence and goalkeeper in training every week (unlike last year). Maybe, just maybe, he isn’t capable of scoring past them? The irony is Ramsey was trying to break and score a goal for us which is why he didn’t fall over, he just took a really bad touch and his thinking was naive in not sensing the danger, Amdouni I can excuse, when the ball came to him he was surrounded and had few options, none good.

Incredible that we spent money on Tresor and Amdouni instead of Tella. I’d bet that Amdouni has already got more goals for his country and in the UEFA cups than Tella will have over his whole career. Compare that ‘foul’ on Ramsey with the ‘foul’ by Ramsey at Villa Park that won them the game. That was the same ref who gave the penalty at Villa Park, Atwell, who is VAR today. I’m interested in who the 17 were where VAR should have intervened but didn’t.
If the Ramsay tackle at Villa Park isn’t one of them I’d question the accuracy of this PL analysis, because Webb’s own guidance was that VAR should intervene for going down after too minimal contact.
