Chitty Chitty bang bang Mary Poppins Charlie and the Chocolate family (the original one with Gene Wilder - not that awful remake) These were all favourites in our house. You are such a courteous person to refer to that film as 'that awful remake' I'm sure you really thought of stronger expressions,...

Looking at the BBC live reporting text and Jacqui Oatley says 'no first goal for Willian Jose' I've doubled checked the line ups but can't find a Willian Jose, just have a look.

I've noticed there are a vast number of radio ads telling us to go left if we break down on a motorway I remember we were once told to stop on the hard shoulder and summon help via the emergency phones or more recently by using your mobile phone. I drove to Todmorden via Bacup on Friday expecting the usual collection of temporary traffic lights and half filled potholes so what a massive surprise to find the 3 mile stretch of road to be possibly the smoothest surface in the East Lancashire area I think it was the end of last September when I ...

I don't have any issues with Bamford other than he plays for Leeds I'm at that age where it's not really possible to forget Revie, Hunter and Co as for VAR it didn't turn up for us at Elland Road but as they say 'it is as it is'

Re: Fancy living at Brockhall?
Back in the day Brockhall staff and friends had a decent football team and at the time I played for Haslingden St. Mary's in the same league and it was a pleasure to play on one of the beautiful pitches at Brockhall. The 'residents' worked under supervision on the upkeep of the grounds and the pitch...

Re: PREVIEW: Cherries making fourth cup visit to the Turf
The 1966 replay was a money spinner for me, if you call winning 2 shillings a money spinner we went down to Bournemouth and struggled to draw and what I mean by struggled is it was difficult to avoid winning, we pulverised them. My old man said that a replay against a lower side was a must by order ...
