That's why Utd have been very harsh in regards to ensuring ST holders actually attend a minimum amount of games per season, they know they have people waiting who could probably attend more games.

I’ve mentioned it before but some players won’t be hit in their first year, it’s usually the second season to try and make them stay for a year to get back up. The club still get decent parachute payments for the first year It's instant unless the player has a clause preventing it in their contract...
