Re: General Info - Crystal Palace (a)

Decent service from Norwood Junction to London Bridge - we've usually used that route. The other option is Selhurst station, both about the same distance away and I think that goes into Victoria. Thornton Heath is also about the same distance (on the same line as Selhurst but the stop before) and h...

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover

Simon appeared focussed on the walk away at nil cost/obligation. The club's debts, whatever the reason for coming into being are the club's and future buyer's responsibility. The repayment of the £115m would enable the club to clear those debts and return itself to its early December 2020 cash hold...

The number explicitly refers to the publicly stated debt ALK/VSL have with the club and what they have spent on shares in the club. The club's external debt is not a factor in the answer I provided or the question asked. They said "clear our debts" which I assume is referring to the football club's...

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover

Break even on shares bought and debt to the club is around £180m - £190m I'm not sure if it would be this much now. The club has effectively paid off a fair chunk of that purchase price when they partially repaid the loans used to fund it. Of course we don't know if there have been further loans or...

They generally claim around £250k in expenses, which can cover nearly all their general costs of living, so it's definitely a good shout.
That expenses figure is a bit misleading though as it includes running their constituency offices so has staff and other business costs in there.
