In all honesty rejected, I think your team will be better off in the long term if you do go down.

Re: The state of the NHS
SC, seems an entirely reasonable suggestion to me. As you say there needs to be radical change for the long term rather than short term decision making for political reasons. Making changes is half the problem. Each government moves the goal posts after every budget. A change of government and the ...

Re: The state of the NHS
In terms of electability but in terms of results. John Major's bad public perception didn't stop us enjoying the lavish fruits of the economy he bequeathed to Tony Blair. We rode the economic prosperity he brought the country for nearly a decade until Gordon Brown wrecked it and completely trashed ...

Re: The state of the NHS
I think the NHS is always going to have 'bad news stories', trying to prevent them is like trying to predict the weather. The problem starts when those stories become common place. As most people know from their own experiences it isn't all doom and gloom. There is a danger that under May things may...

A couple of years ago he looked like he had a great future ahead of him, never really moved on. Lots of skill but lightweight. One proper tackle and he's quiet for the rest of the game.

Re: Burnley worth buying
Nobody puts their money in a business without having to want some say in how it is spent. The simple solution, for all clubs, is that owners should be allowed to pump in as much money as they like, but only if it is a gift, NOT as a loan. Outside that all clubs should be made to operate within their...

As already stated, he can say what he likes, he is never going to be elected. The bonus may be that the more bilge he spouts, the sooner the muppets who voted for him will see through his hollow promises and get rid.

Utter ********. I would quite gladly walk away from the world cup. So many extra games to accommodate means an extra long programme. Which means they'll be moaning about how many matches we play in the Premier League. Just as UEFA have tried to build up there own importance by expanding the Champion...

Why would they need to? All that leaving the EU means is that we will have to trade with the EU on the same basis as the rest of the world does. Germany is not going to refuse to sell us cars. I'm not in the CFS, but would still be gutted if the home fans were removed. That said they will only be removed if other home fans complain. I would suggest if you don't like the crowd surges you move to another area of the ground. Each to their own, surges on the Longside were part and parcel of t...

SS news showed a stat yesterday of the least tackles made in the premier league due to Guardiola's revelation he doesn't coach tackling. We had attempted the least tackles so far with 166. It is staggering to say how low possession we have. But it's a stat with little meaning. We deliberately get m...

Re: Mr Dyche sorry but you are out of your depth
It's not Sean, 'some' of the players are out of their depth. We have improved, but at the moment just not enough. The biggest problem, which we have had since Tripps left, is someone to deliver quality balls into the box. Anyone, including you or me, could put a ball into the penalty area, but unles...

I don't know how much profit we'll post, but it's all meaningless. The premiership is spoiled by UEFA and FIFA. Too many breaks for International friendlies. The ever expanding list of minnows added to the roll. I don't think it's wrong for countries to be allowed to compete in the World /European Competitions, but much like our league cup it needs seeding. Smaller...

I'd definitely vote leave, again. Nothing has changed, the reasons for dumping the EU are still there. The media, who always have their own agenda, might be highlighting the negatives, but there are still many positives in there as well. It neglects to report on the state of the EU without us. If it...

72-73 for me. mostly because I saw a lot of games that season. The memories of Preston on the last day, the stuffing of Villa (twice) who were our only threat, if only for a short while. The football that team played was just a joy to watch. Taffy down the wing. Dobo and Flynn in the middle. Fletch ...

I don't buy the idea we will be annihilated by anyone. That goes back to Judas days. Last time in the prem we kept 9/10 clean sheets. Were beaten by the odd goal on numerous occasions, but the annihilations weren't (apart from WBA away which had other causes). Have we the best defence in the divisio...
