A penalty is not always given under those circumstances though. If the ref deems the attacker to have dived, it’s not a penalty even if that dive results in the defender and the attacker coming into contact. I accept the CR7 one tonight was marginal but I still think he’s initiated and gone looking...

Remember the eusebio game against korea and ratin? Being sent off for Argentina...they played the dirty game! 66 1970 was special all piled into Les gills house in stoneyholme was it Italy in the quarter finals?? Great memories now fading!
