I was at the infamous "Judas!" concert in Manchester just two days before my 18th birthday. Burnley had qualified for Europe and the World Cup was just a few weeks away and I was lucky enough to be at Wembley to see England win. I’m not sure where people are seeing above average ratings for McNeil in that game. Pieters 8, Wood and Vydra at 7 but the rest on fours and fives for me today... and I think I’m being generous. Apart from a great bit of defensive work in the second half when Southampton broke forward at pace i tho...
