Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Player Ratings

Yep me- I thought that whilst he saw plenty of the ball, his end product going forwards was hit and miss and that in the first half he was the player against which any joy Sheffield United had came. But clearly a minority view which is of course fine! I gave him a 7 but 100% agree with your view. H...

Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Player Ratings

Trafford 8 - comfortable and composed. Excellent distribution today. Vitinho 7 - played his part by doing the basics well enough but he must have had 12-15 opportunities in good attacking positions and didn’t find a teammate ONCE. His final ball is as bad as we’ve had from any player. Taylor 8 - set...

His deficiency against West Ham wasn't his defensive skills but his inability to create anything when in acres of space. I don't recall handling crosses being one of Heaton's strong points. 100% accurate. It is a total myth that Heaton came back into the team at the expense of Hart due to his ‘coming for crosses’. Oof wouldn't go that far. I just think that while he does have a mistake in him and can get dispossessed, it's not as drastic as people make out and for his age he's still got time to develop, plus just has that hard to quantify look of a player who's maybe not good enough now but not far off abrup...
