Re: Vitinho
Runs and runs does the lad - if we had the squad that we really wanted, he likely wouldn’t be starting, but his value is in his versatility and work rate. Yes, he can be poor with his passing, even the simple balls, often doing all of the hard work only to fluff his lines at a key moment, but I can’...

Re: Have Faith in the Project!!
Some nicer play today, but we still failed to really capitalise against another pretty poor side. For all people bang on about the Premier League going up another level each season, there have been some pretty ordinary sides at the Turf. Less scattergun recruitment, ensuring that we filled the key a...

Probably an 8.
Alongside the likes of Esteve and Cullen, who I thought were also very good today, without forgetting Vitinho’s excellent contribution (saving a likely goal at one end, which lead to the second).

Sort of expected the silly marks for Muric, but come on, let’s have some balance. He played well, we’ve missed what he brings, but 10’s, “out of this world”, give over!!

Awful performance - how he couldn’t see that it was a penalty, when it was right in front of him, I haven’t a clue. Useless throughout.

Re: Burnley vs Brentford - MATCH THREAD
Whilst I'm all for the radical innovation of picking your strongest players and not fielding ones not up to the task, the timing of this is utterly baffling as others have said and if it comes off then it will be a doubly maddening kick in the balls to the fans by Kompany by making this change when...

Re: Burnley vs Brentford - MATCH THREAD
I find the timing of bringing Muric in, baffling. I’d accepted that Kompany had set his stall out and was sticking by his decision to keep faith with Trafford. Unless there is another reason for Muric’s inclusion (Trafford suffering a knock or illness, which seems unlikely with him being on the benc...

Just read that West Ham haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 10 games in all competitions. Should be plenty of goals on Sunday. A chance to pick an away win up with them playing their Europa ties either side of our game. A good chance for them to not make it eleven games, but I like your positi...

Stay - we are too wedded to this ‘project’ to ditch everything (Kompany’s players, Kompany’s scouting, Kompany’s analytics, Kompany’s back room team). I’ve less confidence in Pace and his team unpicking the mess that would be left, if they got rid of Kompany, than I have of Kompany learning from thi...

Not sure where they’ve got that from or simply assumed that the be the injury with him being out for the remainder of this year.

Is it three wingers down from our first team squad (Koleosho, Redmond, Zaroury)? Add to this the missing forward players, Foster and Ramsey, and he still can’t even make the bench.
I wonder if we’ve decided that he’s not what we need - not good for us and not good for Tresor.

The throw ins are infuriating. Up there alongside the defensive coach (I assume that is what he is) who jumps up each time the opposition has a corner. I haven’t a clue what he is doing or saying. Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to make a blind bit of difference - our ‘marking’ at corners is terrible.

For all his faults, I like Vitinho. He’s definitely a useful squad player, just not really a regular starter.
Despite a better season last time, I’ve really never taken to Roberts. Not sure what he is but I’m just a bit ‘meh’ about him as a player and him going out on loan.

Amazes me that the Trafford / Muric debate gets so much air time.
