Yes. Got my ASD diagnosis last August (aged 46) - my ADHD diagnosis was in August 2019. I've been masking for so long it made the diagnosis a lot harder. Also watched the Chris Packham series. Part of the seeking diagnosis was the shut downs/ meltdowns I was experiencing over doing both bathroom and...

Football - generic term covering lots of different sports
But used by most of those sports or the shorter footy.

Soccer - specific derived from "Association Football" and first used by the British - but for some time wrongly attributed to the Americans and their ruining our game.

I think all of us were trying to be helpful. The thing to remember with any photo is the only constant is the number of pixels. PPI and dimensions (in inches, centimetres) are not constant. If you have a square image say 16 megapixels (4000 x 4000) and on your monitor it is 4 inches by 4 inches ther...

Re: Jimmy Mac and George Best

Well they are similar. They’re relative to one another. Computer monitors have a greater number of colours than printers, therefore printers need to print a much higher number of dots than pixels to compensate otherwise what was printed would be nothing like what you see on your monitor. Just to make it clear resizing is not altering the PPI it is resampling the image to increase the megapixels. PPI is pixels per inch correct. Megapixels is the total number of pixels in the image and is not measured as Pixels per inch. If you just changed the PPI figure it will not increase the numb...

Dots of ink.

My advice to the OP is to look at aspect ratio of photo, check current resolution of photo and use these two things to work out the maximum recommended size at 300 DPI - if that size is satisfactory for the gift and it's a size available at Simpsons/Max Spielmann - go there and get it printe...

I think the thing is on a computer an image might be set at 72 DPI but when you want to print it you would want at least 300 DPI. The image if shot on a 24 MP camera will be something like 6000 x 4000 pixels - so you could probably print that at 300 DPI to a size of 18 inches x 12 inches and it woul...

You can’t increase the dpi of an existing image. Obviously you can if it is a digital image. Presumably you're referring to images originally shot on film/negative? That I'm not sure of, but presumably an old black and white photo scanned to a computer would depend on the quality of the scanner used.
