Re: Time to move on
I was in a pub in Whalley a few weeks and overheard three Rovers fans talking. Their conversation was roughly as follows: "If we go down it will be great in League One coz we will fill and take over every away ground". Delusional?

I have just recalculated my equations and I can confirm that dark matter represents approximately 84.5% of mass in the universe not 99%.

My dad told me stories of visiting Ewood just after the war and fighting all the way from the station to the ground. He also remembered trouble between the fans before the war.

Setting off to have a few cold beers in my local Spanish bar. What a happy day to be a Claret. Times like these only come along along every now and then so let's all enjoy it to the full. Can't wait for next seasons fixtures! So proud to be a Claret.

That is indeed very sad news, one of my favourite players after our glory years. Farewell to a top player, top claret and a top man. Rest In Peace, Peter.

Poor old Saxo, all those personal problems and he still supports the Rovers. Hasn't worked in how many years, no wonder he can spend all his time on here. If a General Election WERE called, I would ask Turtle what I was really thinking about and then then ignore his advice.

Nobby Stokes? The head master, who came to bgs, and ignored what was a great school football team and insisted the school should play rugby instead. I should know I played in the first 15 and we got beat week in week out against teams, who had a history of rugby.

The Coliseum in Rosegrove became the Cabaret Club. I used to work there as a waiter in the Summer months, when I was at Uni. That would have been in the late 60s. The owner was a guy called Brian Tatersall, who bought a flash, white convertible American car, which had been used in an early Bond film...
