Re: Reading v Clarets Match Thread
Good to see the lads on the fringes some game time today. They quite clearly need it on todays showing . Some due to lack of match fitness, some due to never playing in this country before, plus a mixture of both for a few. Foster showed a few nice touches but was absent for a lot of the game I thou...

Re: The Sun again - Kompany & Spurs
Whilst Spurs are a big club, and opportunities like this don’t come around too often, I don’t think Vincent should make the move , if indeed he wanted to. Prime examples , albeit I don’t think they are as good as him are Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard. In my opinion Gerrard should have stayed at R...

Neither of them have played enough to make that comparison in my opinion . Before the sending off against Sheff Utd, Foster was showing some promising signs and causing problems . I haven’t seen enough of Obafemi to comment on him yet , not sure where he will fit in .

Bellingham went from the second tier to Dortmund no problem. They are also looking at Zaroury apparently . You can play at a lower level for a period and be a good player

Sign him up, when I checked him out last summer after the links to us, I wanted us to get him over the line. Looks as if we will have to pay a lot more for him now, however he does look a real player. Plays a lot from deep, which we know VK likes from his striker , but also looks as if he would suit...

Put the financial uncertainties aside , I do think we will spend on a few this summer in addition to making a few loans permanent . When we are clearly looking to attract more investment or have already got people/entities on board or on the horizon on promotion , the board won’t want to rest on the...

I’m in the camp of thinly Darko has something about him, but looking more and more likely that he will, as reports suggested , be loaned out in the summer at the very least . Clearly VK wants him , not sure we will go the the prices stated though for a keeper . Our keeper is going to be a big player for us with the ball as Muric has been this season, is he better at “generic goalkeeping” than Muric , I’ve no idea but another link suggests he’s highly thought of.

Hoever is his last name , he joined Wolves from Liverpool , I think as part of the deal for Jota. Originally a centre back but played as a right back / wing back against our neighbours when he scored twice a few weeks ago.

Twine needs the game time to adapt to the faster pace in this league . He has probably never played in a side that has opposition on a regular basis who sit back and close all the space down to play in , due to how dominant a side we are in this league this season. Players take varying amounts of ti...

He’s being asked to play a no.10 / deep attacking midfield role in tight spaces and it’s not working for him at times. Needs a bit more space to operate in but today we weren’t good enough .
