Re: The pitchside screen
The pitchside monitor was working correctly. The communication between VAR and the supporters inside the stadium is dreadful. Supporters don't know when an incident is being checked; they don't know when a restart is being delayed, they don't know what the checks are for. When information is sent to...

So we should never change anything in case some people get annoyed? Struggling to see what is counter productive about changing the term ‘man of the match’ to ‘player of the match’. It’s v odd to me that this annoys or upsets anyone. Edit - as for linesman. We had a female assistant referee yesterd...

Re: Venkys
I think that's perfectly reasonable.
All clubs will receive approaches from 'potential buyers', but are the offers realistic? Promotion to the Premier League means Venkys can recoup some of their investment and sell for the same price.

Re: The pitchside screen
The ball would've gone out of play, and VAR would've instructed him to delay the restart, and they were checking for a foul. After determining it was a foul, they would be instructed the ref to go to the screen. But then they started checking the offside in the buildup, which might've taken longer t...

I bet you mean the VAR monitor.
So the referee went to it early, VAR was checking an offside before the foul and the ref was waiting for the images.

Re: Joey’s in bother again
Alex Bellfield was a campaign of harassment toward Jeremy Vine, not just an exchange on Twitter. Vine is right to nip the issue in the bud, and Barton should be grown-up enough to apologise. All in all, it's just another dumpster fire from Twitter. I blocked Joey Barton a long time ago though. Grade...

I'm not diluting it. I just think it's all childish and stupid. If Vine wasn't taking legal action I wouldn't even considering the image of Jeremy Vine hanging outside schools and trying to entice young children with his bike for his own gratification. Instead I'd be knowing that Joey Barton is just...

Attributing a noun before ‘nonce’ suggests he was just being offensive instead of throwing around the accusation. It's like Inbetweeners’ ‘bus ******’ Sticks and stones and all that. Neither of which is likely to happen. Hence, he is on my list of players we have signed for ridiculous amounts of money. Mostly agree but I think you're wrong on Foster. Young promising striker who we signed for about €11/12m, surely some profit in that - how much profit is debatable, but I think we make some on him eventually. As callous as it sounds, and business is business, buying clubs might consider other alter...

Because when your supposedly valued at £17m you'd think he would show some promise… I've not seen it.
I doubt we’ll see profit from the likes of Trafford, Amdouni, Tessor, Foster and Ramsey because of the original outlay.

I believe that socks are now designated in the rules of both the PL and EFL (at least in the Championship) as having to be a single colour with, at most, a 12mm band set at the bottom of the 'turnover' at the top of the sock (no idea what that part is really called). What is the Football Sock Tape ...
