It's always been the same, 40 points was enough in all but 2 of the prem years 39 was in all but 4.Many times 37 was enough. Nothing too different this season

It's not just TV losses, it's net losses. So for example, we didn't have to pay bonuses due for staying up. This figure would be deducted from the TV revenue we lost

Admittedly he was underwhelming, and certainly didn't endear himself to the crowd - particularly the Longside - but knowing what we know now, I think Paul Stewart should get some understanding. I was about to post that it was Paul Stewart, but now we know his history, maybe we should leave him out ...

He's so fantastic that there are loads of PL clubs fighting for his signature. He won't be in the PL or any of the top clubs in any major league and there is a reason for that. We paid £12.5m for a striker, a position that normally commands the biggest fees, and as another poster said we will probab...

These managers get into an elite loupe. Get a job with a big club, sacked after a couple of years(max) get heavily compensated, move to another big club, same again, sometimes return to the first club that sacked him at some point later, sacked again, and so it goes on. No I don’t think it’s harder. I think we only need 5/6 new players as well as signing 3 out of the 4 loanees again. Compare that to having to bring in 15 new players and gel them all during a frantic Championship season with a rushed pre season. This time we’ve had / still have plenty of time to pl...

I wouldn't read too much into this. He's in our group with players who have become mates and whilst he's here he should feel like that. Once he's back at City he will consider all offers on the basis of career and money. If he gets a decent offer from Newcastle say, he'll surely take it in preferen...

I don't know what's gone wrong with him. It's always tempting to take a punt, hope he will return to his former self. I think 100 points is possible 106 will take some doing. As for 100 goals, the thing is that we are not the sort of team that hammers the opposition for 6,we seem to ease off after 3 and see the game out, so when we score just 1 or 2 which could be the case against Sheffield It'd and Middlesbrough, ...
