There may be truth in all these allegations against Trump and his gang - I don't know. What it looks like to me from the outside is 'the establishment' ganging up against him. I genuinely don't know, I don't understand the setup or why it was done, but it was done 20 odd years ago.... It was set up at the insistence of the rich clubs who wanted a bigger share of football's income, particularly as a television deal was about to be agreed. Before this the Football League m...

FIFA won't take kindly to this. What is so wrong with the FA ? Good question. I'd like to know that too. Football in England seems to me very successful, both at the very top of club football, and lower down. The pitches generally are of a higher standard (with the FA investing in training for grou...

I suspect the reason Hughton got it last year was the unexpected improvement in Brighton from relegation candidates to just missing out on automatic promotion. This doesn't belittle Dyches efforts - it is no easy matter to return to the Premier League on one season. I thought Steve Bruce did well to...

Bride rhymes with Longside. As you found your love there it may be appropriate.
Last line: 'The old Mill Town is my bride'
'I met my love down at old Turf Moor
Dreamed a dream in the wide Longside
And I'm still here, after all these years
For the mill town club, she is my bride.

I voted Trippier as we need an attacking outlet and I assume defensively he would be up to standard.
My second choice (I can't see how to vote for a second time?) would be Jason Shackell to replace Ben Mee! Shackell was one of the big plusses the last time we were here.
